No one has to pay to play this game. It's completely free to download and play. You can pay for optional, temporary powerups, but you can also pay for those with an ingame currency you get just for playing the game.

I know it's not owned by Double Fine, but every time I hear news about Double Fine, I hope that it's related to them acquiring the licence to sell Grim Fandango. Although, this is pretty good too.

I hate to sound like a jerk, but if you really have a problem with it, just buy your own shampoo/ketchup/toothpaste. Then label them so everyone knows they are your's. Then, you can throw them away whenever you want. Problem solved.
