I'd say for your needs the iPhone is the best bet. Android is nice (its what I have) but if you're not bothered by how much you can modify/customise it, which can at times be really confusing/frustrating, especially when things go wrong, and when things go wrong on Android, boy can they go...

I can't really complain about my secondary school/6th Form, since they've only done a few things which could be called dick moves. One of these is the rule on ear piercings. Girls are allowed one stud in each ear, boys are allowed nothing. I don't really care about it, but it's not exactly fair...
