How do people get bored on their own in this day and age?

What is it, I find myself rather eager to ask, fascinates you about IN's?

How do people get bored on their own in this day and age?

Not on that forum, or sure if I need to full quote or just post again. Our types do often work IRL. My best friend is me but E, but hell does he get bored quickly. We travel alot together, he likes cities and I like the country. I'll follow his lead and do whatever, (if you know the Enneagram...

How do people get bored on their own in this day and age?

Are you referring to the small clinic at the north end of Civic? (Not the needle exchange at the bus interchange). They had a really good harm-minimisation program going on sometime maybe around 2005-07. Can't remember, but I got put in touch with them after I did a stint at Ted Noff's up in...

How do people get bored on their own in this day and age?

A major reason between big differences is extroversion vs introversion. Some people soak up energy by being around a certain level of external stimuli, others need more alone time to recharge. From your Myers-Brigg's, you likely fall softly on the E side of things, but more heavily on the N...

    Poll: Is being shy bad?

Being shy AND an introvert can be unhealthy if you don't have a good outlet for social inclusion. I'm not shy by any means, but I'm incredibly introverted and happily settle into isolation if allowed. But my best friend is basically me but an extrovert, and having someone like around pulls me...

    Poll: Is being shy bad?

From your description, you are an introvert, not shy. Introverts, myself included, can be very outgoing in the right circumstances. A shy person would not be. See my comment two above yours.

    Poll: Is being shy bad?

It really is a matter of degree. Shyness is generally underlined by a fear of judgement by others, which inhibits social interaction in the person who is shy. If by 'shy' you mean crippled by social anxiety and find it difficult or scary to talk to people, then yes, it is very bad and you...

Poll: Do you wear jewellery and why?

I have three necklaces I like. I don't wear them as a routine, only if I feel like it. Also have a ring I wear sometimes. I have a few tattoos, but they're only visible if I'm not wearings pants, socks or a shirt. So at home and the beach. The jewellery I wear I like because I find it...

Has a game's size ever influenced your purchase?

Until recently my best net speed was about 0.7 megabytes/s (or 5.6 megabits/s, if you count in those), but I didn't have a hard data cap, so a huge game usually just would mean that it might take a couple of days - especially if I would have to pause the dl to do work or watch YT, etc.

Poll: How Often Do You Wash Your Towels?

I lived in a area with water-controls (drought) for ages so the idea of washing a towel after one or two uses is just balmy to me. But, even from a good hygiene perspective, that level of washing is unnecessary and wasteful.

Dark Tower fans, help me with a purchasing decision please.

Michael Wehlan did all the really good illustrations. I'm not sure they're in print, so try googling Dark Tower Illustrated and see if you get some eBay or Amazon reseller hits. But expect to be paying a huge premium for them.

Poll: Who's the best Witcher 3 waifu?

Shani is best waifu. So is Ciri. And Sylvia Anna (Syanna). And Triss.

    Titanfall 2 and Late-comers

It annoys me when people use the whole, "gamers are hypocrits because 'they' said one thing, but then didn't do x" argument. It is so patently stupid. For one, as others have pointed out, it does not follow from "I wish games didn't have scummy business models", that you would then buy every...

The $100 Steam Direct Fee is Bad for Steam, and Bad for Gamers

I disagree with the article whole cloth. If you actually sort through all the new games being released on Steam each week, the number that are the low-value asset-flip type games people moan about are actually a tiny percent of the games released. I spend a bit of time searching for smaller...

    Cheese

Raclette for melting. Roquefort for eating. Or a soft, white goats milk cheese. Romano for pasta. Really, though, all varieties of cheese have their place. Don't really like feta or haloumi, but all other colours, firmness, and milks I like something of.
