Since Independence Day made it on the list, 2012 wouldn't be out of place either. In that movie the President chooses to stay behind and face the end of the world rather than save his own life, and spends the last hours of his life comforting injured civilians.
I think 3D works fine for movies, but needs to stay out of TV series. With the smaller budget and longer runtime making a good 3D TV series is just not feasible IMHO. Just compare the How To Train Your Dragon movies to the TV series. The movies look great, but the TV series just looks... flat...
Is anyone honestly surprised? Anything that makes money these days is prone to getting sequelised even if the original story was well wrapped. At least with BH6 a sequel makes plenty of sense.
I'm crossing my fingers that it can live up to the original, that one was a childhood staple for me!
So, who else started humming the theme song when they read this?
Yep, if they hadn't reacted with grief it would have been really weird.
I liked the ep, and seeing Laurel finally get to kick some ass was great, but I feel the show failed to really build any tension in regards to Ollie's 'death'. Maybe I'm just jaded but I didn't buy it for a minute.
A...
In case you didn't notice, this is going on in Australia, which has a long history of banning or cutting down violent video games - this has been going on for a looong time. The whole 'violence against women' is just the latest excuse for forcing their moral standards on consumers. Instead of...
Okay, does anyone think that ID called for a sequel? I mean the movie was okay and it was fun in what it set out to do, but it doesn't really seem like a movie that needs a follow up. And after the aliens already had one fleet blown to smithereens, you'd think that they'd go looking for an...
Okay, while I usually find a rivalry between companies entertaining, this is a rather tasteless move. Especially since the actors in question don't pull the strings at Fox, they're just doing their job.
I never said that Peggy would be a willing participant in this (remember, at the time of TWS she is already bedridden and her dementia is worsening). What I meant is that the Doctor is obviously biding his time to backstab Whitehall at just the right moment and would probably give the bastard...
Now that I think about it, I found what would be the perfect ending for Whitehall - the Doctor vivisecting him in turn and using his organs to de-age Peggy Carter, Whitehall's worst enemy. It would be Schadenfreude-tastic AND give Cap a shot at a happy ending.
It's probably not gonna happen...
Well considering that he almost instantly de-aged over 40 years, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that the regenerative properties of whatever they did would fix surgery damage too. It's possible Skye's mother just suffered too severe a trauma in too short a time to heal up again (or they can...
Here's an idea: Assassin's Creed - who can manage the longest wild goose-chase? Provoke the guards into chasing you. You loose if you kill someone, get killed or lose your pursuers.
Or steal as many horses of the same color as possible.
Papers, Please: 3 total screwups and you're out
