I'm going to go with MovieBob on this one with respect that the truth behind those missing penises is simpler than you proposed. I doubt they were removed or abstained from because the artist who rendered them wasn't comfortable making a penis. It's more likely that it was cheaper not to include...
I think a child plays before it speaks. This argument, while interesting in a what came first sort of way, is entirely fruitless. I certainly don't think the author meant any dis-respect to any media outside of games.
As for the article itself. I found it to be a very enjoyable read. That's a...
You really think early man weren't playing games before they were well versed?
I'd like to imagine that they challenged one another to who could bring home the most kill or some other feat or contest.
I'm upset that Gearbox sullied Inglorious Basterds. That trailer is almost a an i spy for Inglorious Basterds movie points. There was the bar scene, the forehead branding, the comanchee guy, the newspaper, and even the same over the top introductions for each character. I guess it's flattery...
In case no one has brought this up...

The 360 launched with Need for Speed: Underground, which was one of the best in the series, Perfect Dark: Zero, which was decent until you tried multiplayer, and Oblivion. I don't know if I missed anything else, but that's a pretty decent line up.
Actually the iPad and the iPhone as well as other mobile devices are great for gaming. They are approachable by many people young and old. Plus, the touchscreen controls allow for different game experiences.
World of Goo is a game that actually benefited from being ported over from the PC...
I've never heard of this series before, but last night I was at a friend's house and they were watching the premiere, I guess. I watched about ten minutes of it. Most shots were generic and the acting was sub-par. I think it actually hurts the series that they're not using uglier people. It's...
I stand corrected, but seeing as how they have the same shapes and purpose as transportation you can see why I got them mixed up and why I stand by my earlier prediction. Really, what's the main difference between the two birds or even from Battlefield 3 or CoD?
I've seen it played in person. Personally, I'm not a fan of large open maps for multiplayer action. Many times, as a player, I'm forced to trek long distances or wait on vehicle to spawn. Once near the hotbed of the action, I may get a couple of kills, but most likely die then repeat the above...
Prediction: Battlefield 3 will offer many of the same weapons, armaments, and vehicles as BFBC2.
So, why buy it if it will offer the same experiences as the last installment?
You'd actually be pretty surprised how much many of the items in a retail actually cost to make. Many times the packaging costs more than the product itself. On average though most items in store are marked up double what they are actually worth. Typically the cheaper something is to make the...
Even though I'm not a huge fan of game stop, especially after working in retail and realizing that anything in retail is nearly doubled in price, the businessman in me respects them for realizing where the market is headed.
I'm doubtful that Game Stop has the functionality to shift from a...
I own a Nintendo 64 and when I was several years younger I picked up this game, well I think my parents picked it up...err no my grandfather sent this to me as a birthday present, along with Quake II. I plan on revisiting both titles as I never got far in either.
In Duke's case, I never made...
