I've played it. I still play it. It's not as well-known as D&D, but it's not unknown, either. And if you look at the extended rules, yeah, it gets idiotic, but stick with the original rule books, and it's pretty much exactly what you want.

I never said you weren't entitled to their position. However, you are probably the first person I've spoken to who has preferred Fallout 3 and Oblivion to Fallout 1 and 2, and Morrowind.

Definitely worth at least 3 playthroughs. Fallout: Tactics (I think that's what it was called) is also a game worth checking out. It's nothing like the others, but it has an interesting vibe to it that makes me actually kind of like it.

The point being, if you're going to choose 2 games from one series, and the last game of another series, none of which were anywhere near as good as the previous games in those series, you should probably include the games that were actually really, really good. Fallout 1 and 2 were great games...
