Update: I am mistaken, there are not 3 channels. There's an auto detect, analog, and digital.

I remember I used to be an active member on the PS3 community forums. Someone posted Yahtzee's review of Uncharted (1), and at first, I was disturbingly confused as to what this crazy Aussie was saying. Once I got used to him... instant hooked.

Metal Gear Online. Game seems like shit at first, but has many facets of finesse, detail, and brilliance. Quite possibly the most far from today's modern mainstream team-based online shooter game you will ever get. Frustration level is on par with a laggy CoD game, but can be very addictive...

lol, yeah, for that reason I hate my PS3 and Valve. XD I meant in competitive online, not co-op. The co-op survival horror I was well aware of.

Try it; the multiplayer is surprisingly balanced for the most part. It's just finding the right game that takes some work.

Picked up AVP right when it came out and I've been playing it fairly avidly since. I think it's a very solid game. The three single player campaigns are all great (Alien is my favorite) and unique; the only thing I could gripe about is that combat when you are using alien or predator feels...

I played the WaW demo, and that was it sadly. I loved every moment of it. I couldn't understand why people hated WaW; solid gameplay, nice graphics, excellent sound (and the voice acting was rather nice as well). Treyarch impressed me with that (demo), so I do have faith they'll make it...
