Even if the gameplay was a bit lacking in variety, it's still quite enjoyable to cut an enemy in half right down the middle to Rob Zombie, or race out of a collapsing paradise while Dragonforce plays in the background.

Personally I think Slippy was helpful. Although the fucker gets captured if you don't beat the boss on the 4th "easy" stage fast enough, he makes up for it by providing you with the boss's health bar. Which is freaking useful, because it tells you how close you are to beating the fucking boss...
