Do you game in the dark or with a light on?

I would use a desk lamp, but I mostly game on my PC and my PC setup, hell, the rest of my room doesn't have enough space to fit one. Therefore I just play with the lights on.

Stupid things you believed as a kid

I used to think that all Australians lived in jungles in wooden huts/shelters. I don't know why I held this belief. Additionally, up until I was about 13 I thought oral sex was kissing using the tongue.

What difficulty do you start with?

I always choose Normal/Medium setting. If then I'm having trouble playing parts of the game, I will tone done the setting to easy. Unless a game is based around its difficulty, like Super Meat Boy or Dark Souls, I do not consider difficulty to be an important aspect of the game, therefore I go...

    Poll: Dead Island Statue Poll

How does stuff like this manage to become "controversy"? I don't see how anyone could find it to be misogynistic. The statue doesn't make any statements about women or reinforces any gender roles, it's just a depiction of a woman's torso. I'm not defending it in any way - of course, it is just...

The best book your school made you read?

Of Mice and Men. My school didn't make English classes read much literature. They were more focused on language.

Games which, for you, define 'replay value'

The main games I would associate with replay value are those which have an element of creativity. Although the quality control of content published on such games could usually be a lot better, I have clocked up hundreds of hours on games like Little Big Planet and Garry's Mod (yes, I know...

    Games you consider overrated

These aren't really greatly "overrated" games, but these two games seem to be enjoyed by a lot of people, and I just can't really get engrossed in them. Saints Row the Third: A lot of my friends seem to praise this game as the most quirky and fun sandbox game this generation, although I...

What Do You Think Of Steam Workshop?

I think that the Steam Workshop and the Skyrim Nexus are both good methods to download mods, each in their own different way. The Skyrim nexus may require some more time to download/install the mods you want, but it offers a lot more customization and navigation features than the Steam Workshop...

March Mayhem 2011 Is Over, Mojang Wins!

Well, even though I would have preferred Valve to win (Yes, I'm not very creative at this XD) my congrats go to Mojang anyway.

Poll: Poll: What Game Are You Most Looking Forward to in 2011

I'm pretty sure that Portal 2 will be totally awesome, and hopefully I'll enjoy Little Big Planet 2 as much as I enjoyed the first one. (Well, for a while anyway.)

Poll: How often do you actually run into online annoying people?

I usually don't play online multiplayer modes on games (or just online multiplayer games) so I don't really see many people online on games at all. Additionally, I'm usually lucky enough to end up in games/matches where people using mics is uncommon.

Poll: If you were shopping for a current generation gaming machine NOW which of these would you pick?

I'd get a good gaming PC in a heartbeat. It just feels like I'm missing out on a lot with my fairly low-end laptop.

So, what did you end up buying in the Steam Sale? And, how much did you spend?

All I got was Super Meat Boy for £3.00. Fun game, but so challenging! Tis' a shame that the sale's over, I was considering getting Garry's Mod.

2011: Do we have a good gaming year ahead of us?

Just Portal 2 alone has me excited, looks like my wallet will be emptied of its money this year. XD
