I prefer real time combat mostly, but I don't mind it being turn based at all if it's something like Fallout (1 and 2, not the VATS annoying thingie) or Jagged Alliance. JRPG turn based combat is something I don't really like all that much.

Scars. Especially the ones that have a good story behind them (and I've got a great story across my forehead). I'm also fond of good looking tattoos, but considering almost everyone has one today, good ones are rare to come by.
