This isa nifty idea if you can limit who can access your trash files. Like say you want to send a file to your friend, you just delete it and they get it. It's a cool idea, but can go wrong very badly.

More develoeprs need to do this. This especially annoyes me with games, where the content for the DLC is already on the disc and you just have to pay extra to get the DLC. I know Valve is doing the free DLC, which is awesome.
