Onimusha. Make an HD collection of the first three games. See how that sells/is received. Assuming the sales are good and people are really happy with the collection (which they should be), then make a new game with a new protagonist and story, but keeping the roots of the originals.
There's a lot of reasons. Nintendo came right out and said that they didn't do enough marketing. A lot of people don't realize the Wii U is a brand new system; they think it's an add-on to the Wii.
So long as Atlus games get timely releases around the world, and on multiple systems, I'm fine with whoever buys them. (So long as it isn't EA. I hate EA. >.<)
ME3 is great! It's my favorite in the trilogy. I liked the ending once I decoded what was really going on. Buuuuut I also went into the trilogy knowing the ending is a let down. So it exceeded my expectations, in a sense. XD
