That's true, it would ruin the loneley feeling of the game, but i think it will also create another feeling of companionship. after all those hours in a depressed lonely world you could need a buddy to cheer you up, so why not have your buddy in the game?

(hmm... long time, no post...) I personally think that co-op would be great and i dont use V.A.T.S much, and i've heard that the ones who made "oblivion onine" mod are working on a fallout 3 online, but it's only in 0.5 beta stage and will take time. and you guys who dont want co-op in fallout...
