Not quite. From what I gathered from the article it sounds like Black/White 2 aren't going to have access to the Global Link. It's more like "Show X is ending because it's moving from local programming to a cable network". Now whether or not this is actually the case, I don't know.

Eh, I don't care so long as the game itself is good. I certainly didn't mind the original Battlefield games, and to be honest with what I played of BF3 it probably would have fared better staying as such. And if it's singleplayer only, then it's singleplayer only. Not much of a problem either...

Plus it wasn't just a boost of jobs. WWII helped because it was the start of the military pension system, which KEPT the soldiers returning out of jobs, so that those who were previously unemployed could still keep their jobs. I don't think we can re-promise a pension plan and get it to work...
