Here's an idea: how about we do whatever the hell his followers would do, even ship the body back to them if they'd accept it, so that we don't piss them off more than we already have?

I don't think that it's so black and white. The Enclave only SAW themselves to be the most pure in the Wasteland. In terms of mutations and radiations, yes, they were the most poor...but I mean, look at the people in Rivet City and Megaton in Fallout 3. They were living perfectly normal lives...
