I do use pirated games as demo versions (since almost no one uses the now), because I want to know what am I buying (and I almost always buy those games). Also I very rarely use them as DRM-free, since no DRM systems gave me any problems anyhow (I remember doing so only twice - in both cases...

I have a friend who built a railgun (in age of... 15? 14?). It was composed of a laptop, gun (four coils IIRC) and... light bulbs (for discharging). It had quite a punch when he used nails. :D

I play on PC and never really complained about scanning - it took me a minute or two at max. Either way - after you completed the game once, you have 300k of all resources at start. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I liked the story and universe. The gameplay could range from FPS to adventure game for me. But it's true - removing or weakening some RPG aspects in favor of FPS portion was a mistake. But anyway - if you liked ME1 for story and universe, you'll like ME2.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein - it was fun. One step - quicksave. Got hit - quickload. :D

I do know. Look at it. When someone pirate the game, developer won't get any cash. When someone rent the game, developer gets ALMOST nothing.

Never. It's just like piracy to developers and creators. Really - there's no difference.
