WarHammer 40k has so much potential for games. I hope this game sells well so we can see more in the near future. I see the decision of putting a Space Marine as the protagonist as a way to cater to more people, next installments should get other races playable.
For the Emperor!...should be...
Awesome as in "uber pwn explosions headshots and chainsaws"....
or awesome as in "awe inspiring and excellence".
Don't expect much more zombie killing in the series. Expect more characters dieing.
There is nothing offensive about it. The intention was nice, but Mr.Driller is not a known character here in Chile, so the message would've not been clear. Confusing messages like Namco's will be hard to distinguish with the loads of distasteful media like the dildo joke (thou it was funny none...
Yep the Last Stand effect is always awsome. Fighting at the brink of defeat not only for your life but the lives of many more. The idea of death around the corner, the rush of adrenaline, when you are the only one able to stop the enemies, and then survivng all the odds.
I remember this...
I think I got the phobias the other way around. I usually like what other people perceive as scary.
I definitely love heights, and the feeling of awareness. I like spiders and snakes too, but not as pet they are boring. I like darkness and the endless sea (the unknown comes with exploration and...
Excellent list youve got there. Agree with most of it.
But i'd like to see a Vaporware section for announced games that didnt get released. Some important games didnt even see the light of day.
--Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans (1998)
--Full Throttle sequels (2000)
--Fallout Van...
"Conchatumadre"
If something went wrong, with many variants (conchemimare, chatumare, chesumadre, conchetupico)
"Puta la wea!"
If its in anger.
In my house you could hear "holy crap" and "holy shit" but its usually "GORRAM IT!"
"Anda a freir monos a Africa"
"Desconchetumadrisate"
It has to be Blizzard. I grew up with Warcraft: orcs & humans and their classic games. WC3 is the game that has taken the most hours of my life.
Other of my favourite developers not in the list:
Relic
Naughty Dog
LucasArts
I've never liked sports and racing games. I once thought i was converted to racing with Burnout 3. But it was just the game.
I usually stick with one type of game for some time until a different one comes out and is good enough for making me want more of the same stuff.
PS: Don't call them...
STALKER, its the setting for everything I wish in a game. Too bad the games sucks.
I would've said Azeroth a few years ago, before WoW, or even before WC3, thou i still like it.
Other worlds are Jak & Daxter and Secret of Mana.
EDIT: non-game would have to be Magic: The Gathering...
I live in Chile. I've been to Peru, Argentina, Brazil, England, Wales, Scotland, France(Paris), Spain(Madrid) and USA(Florida and New York).
My plans are to know more of South America and then travel to Asia.
