It's refreshing to see this type of gesture especially given the circumstances. I'd love to see more new IPs get this kind of reception and positive press from both the gaming media and other developers.

Being casual is not an excuse for poor and biased writing. Yes, gaming journalism is just furthering the entertainment provided by the games - most of the time. There is actual news in the industry that's often overlooked by "journalists." It's damn hard to find decent gaming journalism...

That award is an embarrassment. Theater mode? Done before. Competitive multiplayer... done before and done better. Online co-op... done before. Map editor... done before and done way better. Matchmaking with parties, stat tracking, good online support, and downloadable content? Done...
