I think Bioware made it DLC so that they could appease EA's demands for multiplayer while not completely fucking up the core gameplay. That being said I'm not sure many ME fans are going to give multiplayer a go, which might help kill the notion that all games need multiplayer.

I doubt it will be like that. Sony has a good track record when it comes to purchasing studios to work exclusively for them, and while I'm looking mainly at Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studios when I say this, most of the PS3 exclusive games are above average, so they must be doing something right.

Lets hope not. Humanity is not ready for that kind of power.
