Cell shading is only the way to make cartoons (otherwise 2D) presentable in 3D. Otherwise I can't really see it taking off much. Yes Borderlands which isn't a cartoon used it, but it was aiming for that style. I won't say it's better or worse, it's simply a style. And it's quite welcome...

It looks like an improvement, similar to the one from Halo 3 to ODST. I don't know, but will we be able to choose our Spartan this time and customise them? Colour their armor, choose parts, play as a female? I don't know much about this next game.

Hmm, this is actually a hard question when I think about it. I guess I get the most satisfaction from killing minotaurs in Guild Wars. Probably because I used to farm them so much, that their death to me sounds like a cash register cha-ching!

Funnily enough in a book I am writing two of the characters play a strategy game as if it were strip poker. Lose one match, lose an item of clothing, etc. But personally gaming hasn't really affected my sex life too greatly. Except on certain days when games are released I'm less inclined...
