Occasionally, when I can be bothered. There seem to be quite a few once-great webcomics that are slowly dying at the moment. I guess it's hard to continuously come up with new ideas. Some of them just stop updating, and some of them keep to a schedule but don't have much to say. So it goes.
Well I didn't expect a rapturous reception, but for Yahtzee that's a pretty damn good review. And, as always, pretty much on the money.
I'd never thought about the bat-light thing before, but presumably Gotham villains work mostly at night (as real-life villains do).
If he'd done this in the UK, he would almost certainly have been charged with, and quite likely convicted, of GBH. Even if the guy did 'lunge' at him, what was the student doing walking around with a fucking samurai sword?
Our laws are much stricter when it comes to self-defence\home-defence...
Best. ZP. Evar.
That must have taken some serious work. Not only does it work as a proper review, but there was wonderfully little of the word-order shenanegans that normally get called into play with rhyming English.
Bravo, sir.
You make an interesting point. Now you mention it he (and Johnson in Contact Harvest) do seem to act like pretty brainless pawns. The rebels in CH do blow shit up though, it's not like they're totally innocent.
Also: please(!) learn the difference between "there", "their" and "they're".
While I loved Monkey Island (well.. the first two at least), I'm not sure the 360 is the best platform for an adventure game. If they update it, why not release it on PC?
As it is, the SCUMM VM runs on my phone so it's all good. What's that you say? Piracy? Wha-look over there, a two-headed...
Thought I'd resurrect this thread as a retrospective, since we've all had to live with the new dashboard for a few months now.
How are people coping with it? Do you think it's an overall improvement?
To start the ball rolling.. I think it's harder to navigate to things I commonly want to...
If we're only including Xbox exclusives:
Halo 3
Mass Effect
Gears 2
Halo Wars
Dead Rising
Of course that leaves out some top cross-platform games out, so here's an alternate five:
Left 4 Dead
Fallout 3
The orange box
Streetfighter 4
GTA 4
Haha.. Pickle in a cream egg would be an excellent April Fool.
Also: I agree on the control issue. It's similar in Resident Evil:DS, unless you turn off the knife events.
