Earthbound is a prettier and longer game. I found Undertale fits a lot more variety into a smaller package.
And of course, as the title of the actual review points out, it's main selling point is the storytelling where as Earthbound was somewhat lacking in that regard.
Undertale really...
I have a real hard time trying to convince people why they should play this game.
It's hard to define a genre, starting out by saying it's a retro RPG would be selling it short.
It's hard to sell it on the demo alone. It's not until much later in the game that it really starts to mess with...
For me, it has to be bad graphics. And I don't just mean low-poly, older games, I mean amateur art and lack of color. It's what makes games like Psychonauts still look wonderful after all these years.
The stretchy move is exactly what James Pond does.
The "Robo" you're talking about launching could be short for Robocod, which was the name of the sequel (early 90's).
It was a 2D sidescroller, but I only played it on Gameboy and the level design you describe doesn't sound right. But it...
This is Rayman.
Now one for me that I've asked about elsewhere without luck, but I don't have much to go on.
It was a 3D platformer on PC, I don't know the release date but I was running it on a 233Mhz Intel system with 4MB 3DFX chip. I only played a demo of it, but it was set on a...
VAC requires there to be a server-sided component as well as the local part of it, so it wouldn't even work.
Why would they want to look into it anyway? Surely they have been in PC gaming long enough to know that if people want to modify your game, they will.
I'm indifferent about this one, mainly because I would never play an Early Access game no matter how good it was. I learned my lesson with Don't Starve. By the time it was ready, I was already bored of it and so didn't see quite a lot of the newer content.
I think the option for Early Access...
DRM never really bothered me. I've bought games from Origin, GOG, Steam and even Desura. But one thing I refuse to indulge in is anything with an always-online requirement.
When it comes to pulling the plug on the servers, it's not a case of if, it's a case of when.
Oh, and it WOULD have to...
3D platformer for PC, definitely from the 90's, the demo I played at the time was set on a beach and had you scale the cliff paths which were rather curvy. The graphics were kinda cartoony I think? Can't remember much more than that, I only remember playing it once. I had it on a demo disc and...
