I was going to mention The Mist, the ending is the complete opposite of the book though. Stephen King himself was blown away by that ending. Also watch The Divide. Everything about that film is depressing.

i grew up with a dreamcast and i have to say my all time favourites are sreet fighter III: third strike, soulcalibur and re-volt, i stll have all three and have had great memories with my friends, its a shame dreamcast didnt use all the potential it had! :'(
