I just usually defend the US on the Escapist because every other day there's a "Why does America do this?" thread pretty much.

The fact that people are trying to pull this "convert their holiday to something else" again in this day in age is what pisses me off.

I love it. You just have to accept it for what it is: An anime for and older audience filled with fanservice, gore, and zombies. It's awesome to watch and I've loved it since the beginning.
