So, will you be participating in "Ceasefire friday"?

Care little for what happens in USA, what their politicians think and what their media chooses to blame. So I will probably enjoy a Left 4 Dead(2) game or three. Me playing, or not playing, a shooter will in no way affect anyone in the past, present or future regardless. Want to prevent more of...

    What purchase have you regretted?

A bottle of Pepsi X. Throwing away soda is something I never ever do, but that thing tasted toothpaste. Tried really hard to get at least halfway through the bottle, but no. In the trash can it went :(

Poll: Do you Min-max with your RPG parties or do you pick what looks cool?

Games are meant to be fun. Everyone has a different idea of fun. Personally I go with what I think is cool and fun, numbers be damned. Min-maxing stats/skills and theorycrafting is the opposite of fun for me though I do understand the appeal it has for people to be the best possible.

ME3 - You can't debate Star Child because you have a valid logical point.

Hadn't seen anyone else make the Architect comparison yet, thought I was the only one bothered by it, heh. It was stupid when they did it in The Matrix and it was stupid in Mass Effect. What bothers me more than ghost boy is that unless the "control" ending is considered the canonical one, a...

What's the most scared you've ever been in a game?

Silent Hill. Only game I've ever felt was scary and as a result I've avoided all the sequels as well. Though I don't like playing halfway into a series anyway. Granted it's 13 years since I played it so it might not be that scary any more, but I'm in no rush to find out.

Poll: Is it me, or does PETA seem like an inhuman group?

I'd say the latter. If you're actually going to eat it (or like supply a butcher or something for eatish purposes) then the hunt had a purpose. Also goes for putting down animals that are dangerous to others and/or humans, like say if there's an over-abundance of mountain lions. If merely...

Poll: Is it me, or does PETA seem like an inhuman group?

Can't say I'm too familiar with them since they're an exclusively American organization (I think?) but if they're protesting eating animals for food, then they are at the very least insane. Humans are omnivores; we are required to eat meat as well as veggies to be healthy. Yeah sure, you CAN get...

Poll: Should sniper rifles be able to kill people in one bodyshot.

If a -rifle- also kills in one shot, sure. If going for "realism", which I guess you are, then most people should drop from a single shot from pretty much any gun. Arguably they need not neccessarily die right away regardless of what they're shot with though. But eh... so-called "realism"...

    Zero Punctuation: Deus Ex

I didn't get past the first hour either. Not when the game was new due to an old crappy monitor which made everything simply too dark (damn you stealth tutorial!) and not now since the game is simply too hard to get into without nostalgia mode which I lack for this particular game.

    USA, easily.

Skyrim Streamlining Removes Confusion, Says Bethesda

Well. Fable is doing well enough for itself with less and less complexity in terms of skills and attributes, maybe that's the route they're going for? 2 Elder Scrolls from now and there will be 3 stats/skills: Strength/Intelligence/Agility, Melee/Magic/Shooting. Time will tell I suppose, it's...

Xcom Publisher: Strategy Games Are Not Contemporary

Now my forehead hurts. Facedesking is not healthy. Either the guy is a complete and utter idiot or... no, he is a complete and utter idiot. One who isn't very skilled at lying apparently. Think he'd actually earn himself less hate if he just came out and admitted it's a cash-in that does the...

    Poll: Do you give blood?

Wow. Just looked it up. Apparently 0,6% in my country have AB-. That's... not a whole lot of people considering the population is about 5 million or so. That does make it rare... I've gravely misunderstood someone thinking the "demand" (so to speak) is low. Huh. That's quite interesting. This...

    Poll: Do you give blood?

Nah, no health issues whatsoever, so I don't have any medical reason not to. Hadn't considered the thing about rarity, that's an interesting point. Will stop in next time I see one of them Red Cross booths, not like I can't make more of the stuff so to speak.

    Poll: Do you give blood?

Nope. I have AB- blood, which is apparently useless to anyone who isn't also AB, thus making the demand for it rather low apparently. Or that's how I understood it anyway after someone went through a lengthy explanation of the whole blood type thing that really just left me somewhat confused on...
