I'm kind of a noise purist. I like a lot of the old No Wave bands (Teenage Jesus and the Jerks most especially), as well as early Sonic Youth, early Swans, and Big Black, plus some modern noise like Melt-Banana and AIDS Wolf. I'm not really likely to put genres like grindcore or powerviolence...

If I'm feeling old-school: Iggy and the Stooges - "Search and Destroy" If I'm a more modern mood: Melt-Banana - "Chain-Shot To Have Some Fun"

Why is it always metal, huh? Why can't punk ever be Satan music? *pouts* Sometimes I just wanna get told my music is the music of the devil is all I'm saying.

As much as I love Mass Effect, I would not want to live in that setting. Whole colonies tend to get wiped out there at an alarming rate. Geth, Reapers, Batarian slavers... Just sounds like an unhealthy place to live. I'd have to go with Star Trek's classless egalitarian utopia.
