I love the atmosphere friendlyness thread variety actually I'm not quite sure. (The thread variety is crossed off because of the "Blah Blah Blah Zombie Apacolypse" threads.)

But nobody's considered the Dinosaur apocalypse. Or the robosaurus apocalypse. So many ways the world can end!

OT: It's my own topic, I can GO off-topic. (I think).

I just hate the fact that almost no one is annoyed by the Zombie Apocalypse obviously being a "I need an easy badge" thread.

Most people just ignore it. They go away pretty quickly.
I, on the other hand, got my badge from creating a board on renaming the Sun to the Daystar, because it sounded cool. Linguists got pulled in, then scientists, then political nerds, then the religious... it was a huge mess at the end. Good times.
Yeah, making controversial stuff is WAY better than zombie topics.

I got the badge for 10,000 views via server glitch I think. I woke up one day, looked at my badges and there it was. Go figure, works for me though.

I find the community here much more saner and polite than those in other forums. I also come here for video game news as well as Zero Punctuation and Extra Credit.
