Have to agree with tomb raider, first time I encountered that bear I freaked out.
Also, Goldeneye was extremely creepy in retrospect. The low rez textured faces are actually quite terrifying.
aesthetically/story wise: fiddlesticks. He's a badass, but I'm absolutely atrocious at playing him.
functionality wise: tristana. The only champ i actually own.
I bought Disgaea and Persona 3 FES the same day. I didn't know anything about them, I just bought them because they looked neat.
They ended up becoming my favorite game series, and P3:FES became my favorite game of all time.
^ not sure if the digital Steam bin counts, but I got Recettear and five other indie games I don't care as much about for $5. Recettear is easily worth full price.
As far as a real bargain bin, I never find anything good in those because they're always picked over by the time I get to them...
Metro 2033 & Shogun 2 are good choices. I'm running a Phenom II 965 quad core @ 4.0Ghz and a Radeon HD4870 @ 800/1000 and both games give me a run for my money. I can play metro above 60 fps, at DX10 and medium-high settings.
Shogun 2 recently added DX11 support and AA support. I turned on...
My first Final Fantasy VII game as well as my first Final Fantasy Tactics game both became corrupted near the end of the game. I'm talking fifteen minutes or less of game left before they were considered beaten. It suuucked.

I have a launch day PS2 that works phenomenally. *knock on wood* I had to clean the lens once because it was having some issues reading disks, but since then it's been working just fine. Amazing piece of hardware.
Space Marines, through and through. I love the Warhammer 40k universe. The only books I really read nowadays are pieces from the Black Library. I also adore the Dawn of War I & II series. I've never played the tabletop game, mostly because it's too expensive of a hobby, but also because I don't...
