I agree with you on Dark Souls 2 DLC; it does for me what the main game can't but it does feel a bit like some of the enemies were made difficult for the sake of being difficult (Squalid Queen, I'm looking at you.) I suggest Demon's Souls if you ever have access to a PS3. It's still my go-to...
