The Honorable Schoolboy by John Le Carre.
Sequel to "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" which is a movie coming out this month. I've already started on the third book and I'm already dreading being done with the trilogy. Great characterization and the intrigue is more interesting as a spy story...
Junior Kimbrough has a lot of great stuff.
Rubber Factory by the Black Keys
R.L. Burnside also has a lot of good music.
That should get you going at least!
Texas really isn't so bad. I've lived here all my life and absolutely love it. Unfortunately there is a larger amount of bigotry in the state than would be preferred and I have met and known people personally who think in this backwards way.
That being said, there are not that many bigoted...
I own a PS3 and that is what works for me. I think you should consider what you want out of your machine as well as how much you care about your current 360 library because it is hard to just give up games like that.
On a side note, I've never understood the complaints about the controllers...
I don't know anything about Canada day but celebrating a country's birthday is always awesome. Even more so when combined with beer and snow shoes!
Have a great Canada Day!
Quite a few to count but my favorite was the first Katamari Damacy.
We started the night off with a MGS runthrough/drinking game without a memory card and basically lost it all around 2 am. So we drunkenly played Katamari until 9 am. Highly recommended.
Why do we even care about a Duke Nukem game, much less the quality? I assume we care because there are people who truly enjoyed it back in the day or the bizarre reality of the whole 3D Realms business but this game doesn't and hasn't had anything to offer for over a decade now. It is...
The Room was bad but fun if you know all the moves. Titanic II was awful and irrelevant. The worst movie that I believe I've seen in a long line of terrible movies definitely goes to Ultrachrist.
Ultrachrist at least deserves a look to see just how terrible it is...
I was at a friends party celebrating his college graduation. Luckily we were in a church but after the bbq buffet I completely lost interest in time. Someone eventually remarked that it was "five past the apocalypse" while I was commenting about the eighties haircut my friend's dad had in all of...
I agree with bpm. Closed systems are almost technically unhackable but anything can be broken given time or interest. Also Windows is hacked constantly by something as simple as a pop-up from your browser which helps push the point that open systems will be easily hacked and Windows is the...
The open can policy is fairly common from state to state but the police should be in charge of punishment. If a similar case happened in the school and no punishment was given then the school should remove the suspension or simultaneously punish the earlier offenders. Basically anything to...
At the risk of sounding like a fanboy, I would like to point out that the Departed was almost a shot-for-shot remake of a Chinese movie called Infernal Affairs. There are three of them. Look it up. I just thought it was funny that Yahtzee would reference a remake when he hates them. I haven't...
