Had the same problem and tried all Verifying the files, Renistalling, and lot's of other stuff and nothing worked, then i found a post saying that NVIDIA grafic cards might need new drivers and well had my doubts, as Missing Link was working :/... but what do you know it accturely worked X)...

When i need to know that im the most deadly thing next to actually nuking the enemy i put Prototype on and just run rampent through the city...or if i feel the need to get things from a more personal viewpoint Dark Messiah still whispers promises of power mixed with the finess and elegance that...

I find that Number 1 and 2 might be very close to the truth, deep down humans is pack animals with quit strong terratorial instincts, and with the way we live in overcrowded cities its hard to destiquch who belongs where so we group together in small well-definde "tribes" and then hate everyone else
