Recommending anything by Salvatore. His writing usually doesn't have heroes that are unfailingly good and sometimes the main character is not good at all.
As long as your other parts don't cause a bottleneck then gpu is the most important. Having a good cpu is important for some games like the new battlefield and you need RAM for pretty much anything. Make sure you have at least 4gigs of RAM. Some people will say to get more. Don't listen to these...
5770 costs about the same as 4870 and performs about the same but supports DX11. Better buy in my opinion. Or if you really want performance and have quite a few extra bucks go for 5870. Performing almost as well as nVidia's best card at 200$ less.
I plan on buying one of these games. Being able to run them is not a problem as I will be buying on 360. I have someone to play co-op on splinter cell with if that is a factor for you. So which one do I buy?
Despite what most of you think I thought GTA 4 was a great game. This just looks so much better. What little I know about mutliplayer looks way better than what GTA 4 had.
