"Have one's cake and eat it too" is nonsensical because the saying was originally the opposite: "eat one's cake and have it", i.e. still have your cake after you've eaten it.

Zork: Grand Inquisitor. Beautifully crafted world (especially the contrast between Port Foozle and the Underground) with a surprising amount of detail, and such a wonderfully twisted sense of humor.

Super Paper Mario! ...oh, wait. God of Geometry Wars. Hack and slash your way through an endless onslaught of mythological creatures that all look like little geometric shapes.

Micro Machines was one of my big favorites on the PC and Playstation, I'd like to see a new iteration. It would even suit the Wii's target audience.

Okay, so did I not read the thread thoroughly enough, or did seriously nobody mention the FREAKING BLUE SHELLS in Mario Kart? GOD how much I HATE HATE HATE those things. Also, the screaming flying heads in Prince of Persia 2. Scary as hell, and I never could get the timing just right.

NES: Rockin' Cats. A game where you play a cat in a sweet hat (not unlike that of Yahtzee), toting a gun that fires a fist, to rescue your surprisingly scantily-dressed girlfriend. Had some really clever level design and awesome graphics for the NES. SNES: Tiny Toons Wild 'n' Wacky Sports...
