Actually Aurora, my parents-in Law (In their 70s), do that Aurora, all the time Aurora. It's almost Aurora as if they forget your name Aurora unless they say it in every sentance Aurora.
Yeah, it's pretty irritating :(
When the children were under 10 we were more strict - only supervised Internet access (Well, we were always in the room but no always watching what they were doing) and we were careful with games although at that sort of age they don't necessarily want to play violent games anyway, there is...
This is a golden rule - genuine sites never require you to log into a 3rd party website using your password in order to 'give' you something. They do however do this when they want to take something - your account details.
As others have said, check the URL - maybe do a whois lookup lookup...
We were always careful with age-restricted games for our kids although now they are adults they can pick and choose anything they want. Our son was (So he claims) the only kid in the school whose parents wouldn't let him buy GTA (I forget which one) when he was 15 although we did allow him to...
Tomorrow never comes and can therefore never change.
Why do old threads get resurrected and is there a badge for doing it?
(Yeah, 2 in one - always better value that way :))
Sometimes, sites where it might be important (Such as setting up a profile) then usually. Sites where I have to 'prove' my birthdate to be old enough to view stuff or access the site then no - I go with 1/1/80, not because I'm too young (I wish!), but because they are sites that I am ulikely to...
I like to play with other people either in the same room/house or on the Internet. Currently only playing 2 games:
LOTRO - With people on the Internet
Trackmania - Either with the wife/kids on the LAN or on the Internet
I played standalone games many years but having other 'real' people...
As a kid I loved Lego, hours and hours of fun!
As an Adult I have mixed feelings about it - great for my kids to have the same fun I did when I was their age, not so great for the fact that they 'forget' to put it away meaning I end up finding it around the house - particularly painful when...
All MMORPG's for me:
1. LOTRO
2. 9Dragons before the nerfs
3. Last Chaos
4. Maplestory
5. Perfect world
Oh, and I fall well into the 'Adults' catergory :)
PLayed it to death when it came out, just the same I had with the original (Plus expansion) and the 2nd one (Plus expansion). However, when I built this PC last year I never reinstalled it so I no longer play it any longer.
Snap - The one I played was built into a table in a bar and you could rest you drinks whilst playing (And yes I was old enough to be in bars at the time). Not sure if that was the 1st time though or if I played it 1st in the arcades - one of the benefits of living in a seaside town :)
I tend to buy the best I can afford at the time but I also tend to keep it for 3 years at least so over time it goes from being 'pretty good' (Never 'state of the art' though) to 'just about adequate'. There is no way I could afford to replace it every year and even if I could afford it there is...
Doesn't matter one iota if people insult the games I like, we all have different things we enjoy about games and their is a fair chance that they will differ.
What sometimes irritates me however is when they attach another statement to it that attacks me personally:
Fair comment: LOTRO is...
As many have said:
1. There are other ways to find torrent sites, Google is one of the best
2. They did not host the pirated material, only links to it (Same as Google)
3. Not everything linked by TPB is illegal, it is a good and fair way to distribute all kinds of stuff
4. The ruling...
