Psychiatrist Calls for Gaming Rehab Clinics in Australia

Humans grow attached to just about everything they put their sweaty controler claws on, it is a fact of life. The idea of a clinic to help treat "addiction" isn't neccisarily a bad thing, I mean, if somone actually has a problem which they cannot remedy themselves, they will be thankful for it...

Poll: OHNO OHNO OHNO PLEASE DON'T FAIL ON ME!

I am the only person that I know who is still on his origional 360. My DVD drive did stop reading the disks after about 2 years, but I just replaced the drive myself, and its working perfectly again :) It's my old faithful, but it's true they don't make tech like they used to.

What's your game for '30 seconds of fun'?

I do love a little bit of the new Dynasty Warriors Empires when I am feeling particularly neanderthalic. (if that is actually a word?) I'm also a HUGE Timesplitters fan. That series is so underated it is unreal. The variety available in that game, alongside an excellent comedy story mode, make...

    Games as a True Artform.

It appears obvious that you are one of those people in life who is unable to accept that others have thier own oppinions. Your own oppinion is very welcome in this thread, however your disregard for what others are saying, and your outright rude attitude is not. It is fine to be passionate about...

    Poll: Still Play Retro Titles/Consoles?

Unfortunatly my older consoles were all liberated by my older brothers many years ago. I do still find ways to play the retro games I want to play. I especially love the backwards compatablity of my PS2 (which I firmly held onto.) For allowing me to play the early PS1 titles that were really of...

Fable III Confirmed Via Wedding Announcement

I think that somwhere deep down in the core of the fable games there are really very good games just screaming to get out. They have a lot of elements of finer games (The combat system in 2 for instance.), but not enough care went into putting them together as a complete package. They suffer...

    Games as a True Artform.

I am in complete agreement. I only wish I could have comunicated it quite so well! I have always been of the opinion that Computer Games have some of the greatest potential of any artform, however I can't help but feel that the industry is still along way from realising that potential. That...

    Games as a True Artform.

I think that what you just put forward was your definition of some games, but have you never played a game which has meant more to you than just a set of rules? Have you never played a game which spoke out to you in a more profound way? Please do correct me if I am mistaken, but I think you...

    Games as a True Artform.

It is true, if using each differant deffinition in that link, this thread would become a very differant issue. However, I remind you that i left the actual question forming the thread very open, because I know that everyone will use a differant definition of the word.

    Games as a True Artform.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow_of_the_Colossus#Connections_to_Ico I think that wether the two are officialy part of a trillogy is anyones guess, however I am of the opinion that an important link is exists betwenn these games. Haha! A classic question right there, and one that has...

    Games as a True Artform.

Now we all have our own oppinion on what game is the "Best" or "Your Favourite" But how many of these creations would you really call art? Im going to leave the question as open as that and see what you have to say. My own "Two Cents" on this one is: The first and second installments of...

    British Gamers

I just find this whole issue a real shame. Think back 10 years say. Imagine how people would have used this amazing oppertunity to speak to and interact with people literally all over the world. However, as it is people simply use it a place to be as rude as they like without fear of real...

Your favourite, ever, music for/in any game?

So so sorry :( *Runs away and hides* Good news is I just bought it on the PS store :) That is excellent news! I am forever trying to get people to play it, but few people have an eye for a true classic these days ;-) Give me a PM sometime and let me know how you are getting on. *thumbs up*
