I second the thought that you should just speak like you all the time. Especially if you have a middle-class London accent. I tend to be a bit more Queen's English at job interviews and the like, because certain TV shows have made it even worse to be the classy Essex bird that I normally am...

It makes me inappropriately happy that they discovered one in Essex. Finally my county can claim fame for something other than the kind of people who appear on The Only Way Is Essex. (also he should pay for his crimes, how awful, etc etc)

It's accurate enough - as a timeline, yes, but things like the success of the FYPs are always open to interpretation (this is the trouble with documents that come from dictatorial states). It's pretty impressive they managed to fit such a tight overview of modern Russian history to the Tetris...

As with all games, this is simply a design decision. If you make a game that needs to be linear open, it will feel too thin, and if you make an open-world game linear it'll feel restrictive. Games like Bioshock only really work as linear games, because they are incredibly story-focussed...

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that the game has no excess characters - it's essentially you, a faceless wonder, and a computer. We all have favourite characters in games, and we're told the Cube is our Companion (oh, see what I did there), so we naturally project feelings onto it...
