There aren't that many singelplayer rpgs with an open world these days these days. The once I can think of are Elder scrolls/Fallout 3, and the gothic 3/risen (I THINK they are open world. Haven't played them that much.) Should be more singelplayer rpgs like this.

Tribes 2 did this, worked quite well. It was a game that used a big bunch of the bottons from the keyboard. And I think the idea was with ESDF to moveing the hand around the keyboard a bit more comfy.
