(I realise I?m also talking Open world and not sandbox here but oh well)
I wish games that are supposed to be story driven would remember that they are supposed to build a universe by atmosphere and narrative. I think a very good example of that is Dragon Age Inquisition- it feels like it has...
I?m a metalhead but also really enjoy OSTs like from Witcher 3 or Bloodborne.
But recently I have started to listen to electro/synth, something I always despised before until I played Furi.
These two songs are pretty great:
Toxic Avenger -Make This Right...
Assassins Creed: Black Flag because after it became Feels Creed I stopped caring.
Skyrim (Ps3) because after playing Witcher 3 and Dragon Age I couldnt bring myself to continue, mainly becauseof the AI and Ctrl+v characters plus the combat.
Diablo 3 because it?s boring.
I intent to go back...
Once during summertime as we drove down the main road of the nearest village (I live on the countryside) there was a fish jumping around on the road next to the gas station. Adding up, there was noone to be seeen around so I assume the fish just bought some groceries.
Basically everything by Miracle of sound, mostly "Lady of the Worlds" though:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43FnCO1DkOU
And this, came across it recently for the first time, Two steps from hell - Gravitation:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xkqsL6wwok
I was lucky enough to get to the Europe release date without knowing more than the first three bosses (counting Greatwood), and after having basically only been playing the other soulsborne games for the last two years or so, I came to realise again how good just the first blind playthrough is...
Lava levels and destroyed cities, uncomfortable to look at and navigate.
Arctic/Mountain levels are my absolute favourites, especially with frozen bodies of ice.
I?m really tired of that aswell, it becomes like the enivitable Disney-Musical moment where you always know they are going to survive. I think a lot of games/books/movies would have much better endings if they had the stones to actually let their protagonist die if its the only logical/fitting...
@Zhukov
Well, indeed, AC has really run downhill after Reveleations... 4 was ok but the rest not. However the first few games weren?t half bad and the conflict in them could have developed into something really interesting. I?m just saying that the trailer looks a hundred times worse than the...
That is true, the music was a horrible choice xD However i also feel like the movie will be composed of 89% action scens, one sex scene and some "introduction" to the story line read aloud from a sheet of paper. And what happened to the animus? Was that a giant arm?!
It surely isn?t the best of games, but I spent an insane amount ploughing through it and have to say that the Shivering Isles DLC is the best in the TES series and improved the main game vastly.
Ranting:
After watching the Trailer for the Assassins Creed Movie Im still upset. The trailer looks horrible, the dialogue in it was atrocious, the whole trailer looked like one of these forgettable B-movies that flood cinemas nowadays.
Which brings me to the topic of movies based on...
If no artists/writers had dared to express their views and write what they please we had not come this far to have this discussion here. Controversial works are needed, and so are opinions. One would expect we can all act like adults after reading/viewing something and have our own thoughts about...
True xD except for broodmothers and the architect they are just ctrl+p design from any "evil dudes" fantasy army
I found myself utterly disappointed by the Fearlings in DA:I too. Spiders. Wow.
Covetous Demon from Dark Souls 2. Why...
