^^^ This. I went through the same thing a few years back coming out of high school. One of my friends was a really outward sort of guy and I just hung around him for a while (at his invitation of course, never ever force yourself onto someone) and after a while it becomes habit by proxy. Women...
Like pretty much everyone has said a sound check is really important. Every person who plays any sort of instrument (guitar, drums, tuba) will do it before playing. I've found that when working with a microphone in a large room that ensuring your chords are in perfect working order is essential...
Best one I have seen so far is a giant attacking a mammoth (for whatever reason) then doing the typical giant glitch so seeing a mammoth go flying into the skybox was just.....just awesome. Really wish it landed but :S

Also the CENSORED VERSION SUCKS !!!
If I rememebr correctly I think "Dear Esther" was basically a way of showing off what could be done, kind of like "The Lost Coast" for HL2 (although Lost Coast is definetly counted as a game even though its about the same length as a poorly drawn youtube stick figure)

Joys of being Aussie, we get charged up the whazoo for most new releases. $120AUD for the new Zelda (pre-order) for the lady-friend. To answer your question but for a non-collectors new release wouldn't pay more than $80AUD and for Collectors Edition no more than $130AUD
The best one I've ever got online was someone thinking I was Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation playing MW2, because of the accent, then started complaining about some reviews. Drawback being I'm Irish :P
