Should Valve port Left 4 Dead (or L4D2 for that matter) to the PS3?

I know they haven't exactly had the best relationship with the PS3 (The Orange Box for example) but it's been 3 years and Valve has sort of tried to make ammends with Portal 2's cross-platform play but, well, wouldn't it just be great if Left 4 Dead was on PS3, it's the only series Valve has made in the past 5 years that isn't on the platform and the cross-platform stuff is already in place so why not.

P.S. I know the vast majority of people would probably be thinking no because of the inevitable delays DoTA & the next Half Life would get but it's not like the port would have to come out anytime soon, just before the end of the console generation (or maybe as a launch for the next(I can dream)).

I think they should. The practice of making platform specific games is complete bullshit because there are bound to be people willing to play another console's exclusives, so it would probably be better for the companies if all games were cross-platform. In terms of L4D2, I agree with the above comment, it's a bit late now.

My thoughts exactly.

If Valve decides to port Left 4 Dead, then that is a-ok. If not, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

If you got rid of the stupid Aussie censorship for L4D2 then maye they might look at a re-release but it would take some serious negotiations for a PS3 port even then.

Also the CENSORED VERSION SUCKS !!!

Another win for PCs then, in that there isn't a censored version, just a censored game mode that is easily bypassed.

You don't want L4D, you want L4D2 with the first games content added to it. That would make up for a late release. Given that it's a Source game and just about most half decent PCs (and even Macs) can run it, just buy it for PC. You can use your PS3 controller if it makes you more comfortable, it isn't a competitive game.
