Not particularly. It's just one of those things which happen. I don't know if it's good or bad yet because no-one has come back to tell me that death sucks or whatever. A bit more scared of the pain before death but not the actual death.
I'd disagree with the bit about L.A. Noire as the game had Cole Phelps aka the blandest life-form in existence. It's hard to like a story when you hate the main character.
I'd disagree there, just because L.A. Noire had Cole Phelps aka. the blandest life-form in existence. It's hard to like a story when you hate the main character.
I can't imagine any of Cage's future games will be selling any better because I won't be playing them. :( Heavy Rain was interesting. It was definitely intense and looked pretty and kept you playing long into the night. Finished the game and all you feel is pissed what with all the plot holes...
I've always liked the idea of being able to liquefy and solidify metal in direct contact with me. It's a versatile enough ability that you can do all sorts of cool stuff but it's weak enough that stuff (gunmen, nature etc.) still poses a threat.
Well, I have 6 or so games for the Gizmondo. They're rare for a reason because they're all darn terrible. :(
Fathammer Classics
Gizmondo Motocross 2005
Hockey Rage 2005
Sticky Balls (Probably the best game for the system)
Toy Golf
Trailblazer
Possibly not so much rare but they have a...
Yeah . . . I guess. The thing was that the Atronach gave you spell absorption which was infinitely cooler. Also the armor that I wore most of the time had Feather cast on it so I could keep looting more.
I found that in Morrowind, my strongest character was a Breton. Gave him The Atronach birthsign and later on in the game when you get all those snazzy items you'll find yourself completely immune to magic. Seriously, I found that after completing the Mages Guild, I absorbed 75% of magic shot...
I buy pretty much every game he likes because the games he likes are generally pretty darn good. Then again I also buy the he doesn't like because I like them too. Like Mirror's Edge, Valkyria Chronicles, FFXIII etc.
Yakuza for PS2. The gameplay is clunky as all hell and the game can be defeated using the one combo (except for the hard bonus bosses which require you to have flatout mastered the system) but whacking people with fire extinguishers is that fun, the story is intriguing and the characters are...
Best would probably be 26 Sega Saturn games (including NiGHTS) for $50 NZ. And if you've ever been here then you'll know how worthless our currency is.
I see absolutely no problem with a linear game. There are times when I don't want to just explore a whole lot of nothing looking for something to do but would like to play through a story without wondering what the hell I'm doing.
Linearity is not necessarily a bad thing. It has its good...
Politeness? Seriously?
Back in the day when I was a gorgeous young primary school student, I was somewhat a bully to my peers. However I was extraordinarily polite to those in authority over me which would make a good portion of my negative behaviour unnoticed.
According to this study, a...
Hmmmmm. The biggest problem would be that society actually requires these 'stupid' people to actually function properly as a lot of crappy jobs are handled by these people (and middle management positions). So unless you want a career change to garbage man, then I'd recommend that we let live...
