Pokemon first and second Gen, y'know, before they suddenly got new again. I want to play blue version, with the bad music and graphics, but with a nicer engine, more pokemon, etc.

I think I would've gotten a ps3 should I have had 400 more dollars, and a dislike for halo. But It does have those fancy whizz bangs, but that might mean It would be stolen as a blu-ray player and I'd never get it back.... But it does have free online, but a lot of my friends have an XBOX so...

David Hasselhof? Unicycle? Whatever. Anyways, I want an answer to this question: Are both PS3 and XBOX360 backwards compatible? I've heard stories both ways, and this has been used in so many flames. It'd be good to find out more about it.
