Heh :) But is that the average setup for a PC gamer? I also feel that optimizations for games can be somewhat inconsistent. Totalbiscuit talked about this just the other night on his content patch, lamenting that it was quite often that games/software didn't make full, or even adequate use of...
I don't really see a Titan as a gaming GPU, really - It's overkill to buy that *just* for gaming, unless you're a hardware enthusiast/overclocker. I feel like the mid-range cards are usually more than adequate for most customers.
I've heard they're putting a lot of effort into cleaning up the netcode. The only way we'll know for sure if they have managed to make progress on that is when the beta hits, though.
All my gripes with BF3 were relatively minor, but the number of them stacked and made the experience...
Finished it. Really enjoyed it, though, it's not perfect.
It's more faithful to the first game then some give it credit for, but it is also its own thing. If you're a fan of the first Amnesia game, it's certainly worth a look.
I knew from the get go that there would be a lot of angry fans, because everyone really into the series (inc. myself) had become quite emotionally attached to the characters and the universe. Mass Effect was usually always at its best when it was intimate with the player, but how can you...
I'm yet to read any analysis that is scientific in proving that the story and the ideas are, as many like to say, 'objectively' bad. I think you would be hard-pressed to find many stories within a more iterative-based style of writing (like screenplays) that have an infallible narrative. Some of...
I'm a long-time fan of the series (grew up playing RA *nostalgia*), and I really enjoyed Generals. It was definitely a departure from a lot of the series tropes. I remember the biggest change for me was the different UI, which took after Star Craft. Overall, it was a really solid game (with an...
I would lean towards Sony because they've had a pretty varied catalog throughout their history, as well as displaying much more self-awareness and regard towards their fans and potential customers. I'm really turned off from all the mixed messages and silliness from Microsoft.
Valve wear a lot of hats. But the HL series is Valve's iconic series, so you can be almost certain that it'll appear again. I think we'll probably see it with a new engine.
I can understand that.
I avoided this one because of its history, and it turned out to be a good call for my wallet.
In the past I bought Firewarrior (an intensely mediocre game) and I still had fun with it despite the fact.
They did a magnificent job of butchering the lore. Kudos to Gearbox for managing that -- quite a feat.
I'll just leave this here for future posterity:
Fancy putting more effort into a gameplay demo; I'll buy A:CM when it's free.
I'm sorry...
But I simply have to know where you got that gif as your avatar, and where I can find the video.
*Edit*
Apologies for accidentally misquoting Rayen.
Looking forward to it. The SP DLC was mostly high quality with ME2, so this should be a real treat.
I really like that Bioware have supported the crap out of this game post-release.
