Sad thing is Radiant Dawn was the first FE game I ever played, so I almost gave up on the series in general because of the story. Each FE game I've played has had story potential that's gone to waste. Story is the only thing keeping FE from being a great series...now it's just a good day.
I was hoping for Erik to join Eliwood's party for a bit, leading to a dramatic confrontation with his father. I thought it would have been pretty interesting.
Meh. Serra's not as fun when Erk's not around to play straight man. Kind of like Zap Brannagan and Kiff in Futurama. I really hope Erk's the next unit you recruit. I know he isn't, but I like him a lot.
To be fair, Final Fantasy worlds tend to have their shit ruined by all-powerful evil beings. I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be entrusting my fate to some random warriors chosen by fate that I've never met.
And the award for most nonsensical chapter title goes to: Fire Emblem for Vortex of Strategy!!
I like the tutorial story, but it doesn't get really fun until you start Eliwood and Hector's story. I just marvel at how surprised the characters become at revelations that I already figured out...
