A lot of interesting points! However, as others have already noted, the choice of background music was less than inspired: the whistling was incredibly distracting. I look forward to more of this show, sans background whistling.

Never got around to playing the first one, as I felt that Okami scratched that particular itch. This looks really good, though, and I think I'll pick it up. Do you miss out on a lot by playing the second game without having played the first?

Fun episode with decent pacing. Good performances from everybody involved as well. I must admit though that I feel that something is missing. Perhaps the show grows on you, but I think it would benefit from a bit more... energy or oomph or some other hard-to-define quality. Overall I like where...

As always, Bob makes a lot of sense by just being reasonable and fairly level-headed. Additionally, as a european I can watch whatever happens in the US at a fairly safe distance, turning the US' political shenanigans into a bit of a curiosity show.

My money is on Shepard him-/herself. It's just a gut feeling, but just the demo gave me the impression that ME3 was a bit of a sombre affair and that Shepard was starting to feel the weight of everything that has happened so far. It somehow feels "right" that Shepard could die at the end...

Well, I plan to remove it (possibly burn the land and salt it as well) when I'm done playing the demo and later on Mass Effect 3 (after a reluctant reinstall). At the moment though, I'm afraid your advice is not very helpful.

Instead of giving a long background I'll just cut to the chase: I would like to play Mass Effect 3, and prior to that its demo, on the PC. To do that I must unfortunately use Origin. I do not trust Origin and would like to know if there are ways to make sure that it has been completely shut...

I'm not trying to defend EA here (erk) but are they really spying? I'm honestly asking. Are they spying more than Steam? From what I can gather, Steam only "spies" on things directly related to it while Origin in the beginning spied on everything and now spies on less. Does it keep to itself...

Cool piece of trivia! Still a pretty ugly cover though. Considering the themes that are handled in the game you'd think they could come up with something better.
