Before people spend too much time analysing this machine, remember it's purely for the beta testers. This isn't something that'll be mass market, Valve will be relying on external companies to make those machines rather than doing them themselves. The only purpose of this machine is to give the...
I think there's probably a lot of different ways to view the end events - it's a been a while since I played it so I was a bit rusty on the details and you make a strong case. My post was really more about my interpretation of events as they happened, right or wrong, and why I found them so...
I feel like I got something completely different from the ending than you and I really loved it because of what it did. It's a shame you saw it in a different way and didn't gain anything from it, but here is my understanding of it:
Okay people, if you hadn't a Red Letter Day [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.343002-Play-Half-Life-2-for-Half-Life-3]. This weekend fans will be playing HL2 as a demonstration to Valve that we want to know whats going on with episode 3/HL3.
Now I was thinking it's about time to...
Hmmm, Iron Maiden in term of stature and the act itself, but the best gig I've had in terms of atmosphere and pure enjoyment would be Sabaton. I saw them in Camden, thought they were so awesome that me and a mate then bought tickets to see them 3 days later in Brighton

Good to see with got some talented artistic types on here!
This is something a bit interesting I did a while back. Its a photo of my mate that I've painted over, with a bit of photo editing going on as well. Just to clarify, he started off in jeans and a t-shirt...
<spoiler=The Earth mage>...
Coca-Cola once attempted to launch their bottled water 'Dasani' in the UK, this excerpt from wikipedia sums it up nicely:
Early advertisements referred to Dasani as "bottled spunk" or featured the tagline "can't live without spunk". These slogans were used seemingly oblivious to the fact that...
Absolutely, it looks amazing!
Despite all the other great games coming out I have a better feeling about Ni No Kuni than anything else - everything I've seen of it so far gives me a warm excited feeling. Plus Studio Ghibli combined with Level 5 sounds like a whole lot of awesome.
Even as someone who hates Apple products, this is very sad news. He was an amazing and inspiring force in the world of technology and consequently everyday life.
Baldur's Gate 2 complete (The version with shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal)
Love that game, plus its got enough content to last a long, long time - with the great story and characters to keep you invested in it.
