One of two things, depending on my mood. I either pick up the phone and yell "We ain't got a phone!" or after they ask if they can tell me about a deal I respond with "Only if you'll let me tell you about Jesus afterward." They usually hang up at that point.

The title says it all, really. The Wal-Mart near where I live is selling the two newest titles in the series for $9 new. I don't have any idea why. I asked around and this is a permanent change in price. Is this happening all over or is my local Wal-Mart just awesome?

I've never been ridiculed for reading a specific book. I was, however, once ridiculed for reading in general. I then beat the offender unconscious with the copy of "A Clash of Kings" that I was reading. Hard-back, of course. Haven't had any trouble since then.

Tyrion, for God's sake, Tyrion. He was my favorite character in the book from the moment he slapped the piss out of Joffery, and Peter Dinklage has done a superb job portraying him. Of course, The Momoa as Khal Drogo is a close second.

Movies: I shed a tear when Will Smith killed his dog in I Am Legend. Up got me misty-eyed as well. Games: Shadow of the Colossus got me, too. TV: None that I can think of. I'm going to toss out a book that made me weep when I was a child: Where the Red Fern Grows.

I wouldn't want Pokemon to leave the handheld world. It's a perfect game for wasting a bit of time when you're on the go. Turn it on, fight a couple Pokemon, then close it so you can appear in front of the judge, that sort of thing.
