    Your current book...

I've had a quick glance over Death Troopers, not realy enough to discern anything other than it was a Star Wars horror, would you recomend it, though, is the big question? Right now I'm at the last chapter of the Mists of Avalon by Marion Bradley. I would highly recomend this to anyone...

    What are some great books?

I'm only just getting back into reading through my book collection. Notoble titles would be: The Mists of Avalon The Saga of the Exiles Finnikin of the Rock Starship Troopers The Silmarillion The Girl in Times Square Also, any number of books (if not all of them) by Terry Pratchett...

Scary movies that are actually scary.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. Paranormal Activvity knew how to touch me in my scary places more because it tackled a topic that was, and always will be, horrifying. The fact that you are completely defensless when asleep has always left me partly paranoid, and this movie played on those...

How far would you go to be happy in a relationship?

Oh the stupid things we may do in the name of "love". I've almost given up my entire social life for the sake of puppy love, and several centimetres of flesh from my arm. Needless to say, it left me a little bitter. It's great to see that you care enough about your woman to show her...

You have to get a tattoo...

Beat me by a long shot. Seeing as my personal first choice is taken, I'd get a prawn being eaten by a puma. I can't think of a greater way to remember my child-hood and mates. Would probably have it done on one of my shoulders/shoulder blades.

If you could live in any other time period and culture in history, what would it be?

I'd have to go with ancient Greece, about the time Phillip II was planning his war against Persia. While the voyeur in me would love to have witnessed Alexander's campaigns, the historian in me would much prefer to just live among the people and see how different social groups reacted to...

The dynamics and changes of your classroom over the years

The first two years of my high school experience there were two main groups, the extroverts and the introverts. Each had their own subgroups, jocks, teeny boppers, nerds, etc. Over the course of the years the defining lines slipped expotentially. Group dynamics radically shifted or even tore...

    generally accepted facts about life

Whenever you leave the safe confines of the home for an adventure into the greater outer that is the world, you will remember at the most inconveniant of times that you forgot the one thing you needed to bring with you the most.

If you were a great warrior, what would be your weapon of choice?

A high yield atomic weapon, about the size of an egg, attached to a dead man's switch, just so everyone else with their awesome weapons sees no need to try them out on me.

Question of the Day, January 11, 2011

I would love to take a trip to Mars, even if I couldn't get back, it would be more than worth it. If not for the very fact that I would be outside of the atmosphere, the ability to be able to take in the landscape of Mars, or any planet, is fatally enthralling for me.

    What power would you have?

The most powerfull of all abilities! Not only do you not care what your opponent has done, it doesn't even affect you given how well you can shrug off whatever they just did to you. Yeah, I could go for some apathy, tied in with some invisibility (shy) and psychic style mind powers...

Poll: The Empire from Star Wars vs The Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40.000, which would win?

The fact that the Warhammer 40k universes military might is such a strong point in your argument is due to the fact that the fiction concerning it idolizes it so. George Lucas wanted to tell a story about good triumphing over evil, he didn't concern himself with the actual size or power of the...

Poll: The Empire from Star Wars vs The Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40.000, which would win?

The Star Wars universe deals less with a fanatical insight on technological, genocidal war than Warhammer 40k, so finding named worlds whose sole production of anything is rather hard. Off the top of my head, though, 2 entire systems deal with the training of Imperial Storm Troopers, at least...

Poll: The Empire from Star Wars vs The Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40.000, which would win?

Time will take care of the Emperor of mankind. Faults in the throne have been found and are irreparable, so worse comes to wose, a simple stalling action could prove quite decisive.
