The game is meant to be dystopian and dark. Depression is the desired reaction. The game accomplished its purpose. If you're someone who wants a more traditional happy ending, stay the hell away from this game.

It's not a great jumping on point in the series. There's a lot of lore from previous instalments. I'd recommend playing the first 4 main titles beforehand, not just for the lore but because they're fantastic timeless games. Metal Gear Solid 3 still makes my top 10.

This interests me purely for the huge ass backlog of indie games on my steam list with very little in regard to system requirements. I'd rather save my AAA games for my home PC on full settings. On the go I want simpler stuff.

Incomplete parts of games being released with further content released later. I think the AAA industry is already giving us unfinished games and finishing them with DLC. Unfortunately they neglected to decrease the price accordingly.
