I'm very impressed with whoever did the wikia entry for the continent of Vaelor. Great job.
I'm gonna upload a bunch of races this Friday when I get back. I'm excited to see how this ends up :)
Hey I'm going to a conference and won't be back until Friday. I don't know if there'll be internet there, so if you don't hear from me for s few days don't be alarmed.
www.vaelor.wikia.com. I've only created it so far, so there isn't anything there. I'm going to clean up the races I've done and then post them, along with the dwarves and the deep elves once I polish them up a bit.
The more the merrier :)
Also, if someone likes the looks of either of any...
I've just created a wikia page. That way We can link races e.g.:
In the moon elf history every time the Sons of Mikrish are mentioned it links to their page, and then each noble house gets its own page.
That way it's easy to see what needs more detail, and it would be great as a reference...
I'm also making a few race-specific items. For example, head-priests in the deep elf community will have a banner on their back with the sign of The Speaker, and atop the banner is a glowing ball of light they wear into battle to blind the evil races underground.
Fantastic :D
Take a look at the templates of the races I've already made. Feel free to grab any race other than the elves (moon, forest, deep, and sons of mikrish) and the dwarves.
Alternatively you could plan out some towns or legends or myths. You could even start creating classes (demon...
I've already done the moon elves, the forest elves, the sons of mikrish, and the dwarves. Anything else is fine :) happy to hear from you.
EDIT: and feel free to invent your own races.
To get rid of any confusion, the symbol '?' (question mark) has, for some reason I don't know, replaced all of the apostrophes. Stuff like "Bol?Kar" is actually supposed to be "Bol'Kar". It'd take too long to fix it and I'm just heading out the door.
Also I think there are a few...
For example: if the Bill says that there's a town called Sailor's Bluff and it's built by the sea and made of purple stone, then when Alice came back to Sailor's Bluff in a later story arc she couldn't change that.
All of those series (Narnia, LotR, ASoIaF) had to be built at some point. All...
That's because they're all pre-established. If the authors all got together and just started writing, cementing lore as it came up, there would be no contradictions. Whatever is written in post #10 would still be cannon in post #900.
